My mom is still in the the hospital. The new medication is beginning to work: she has less pain, is eating more food, and the constant diarrhea has stopped.
Late in the afternoon, the Physical Therapist checked her range of motion (good) and strength (ok) of her arms and legs, but it is still very difficult for her to safely roll out of bed without causing severe pain to her back and torso. She (and my father) are staying at least one more night until she can safely get out of bed and walk. The doctor will check her again on Thursday morning. She is looking forward to checking out the Kaiser Farmer's Market.
On Thurday morning, ESL 5 will go to the computer lab for a CASAS listening test. After everyone has completed their listening test, we will work on completeing our work portfolios. Please bring your Job Completion Charts and Essays for me to check.
