VOA Learning English: Free Online Test Targets English Learners
A private company has just launched what it calls “the world’s first free standardized English test.” Anyone with an Internet connection can take the test for free. The test can be found at efset.org.(read more) (listen)

Sue Lee has a seven-year-old son, Kim. Kim has a tooth ache. He has an appointment at the Dental Clinic with Dr. Smith.
When they arrive at the clinic, Sue talks to the receptionist. The receptionist asks her some questions and gives her a form to fill out. Their appointment is at 1:00, but they do not see the dentist until 1:15.
