Let's go to that workshop!
This weekend , several of the teachers from Milpitas Adult School will join hundreds of ESL teachers at the Santa Clara Convention Center for our statewide convention: CATESOL--California (and Nevada) Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages.
For four days, we will attend workshops, lectures, and meetings about improving our ESL teaching skills. Teacher Judy will carefully shop for new books; Teacher Hongyan will review new classroom technology; Teachers Ann, Thao, and Reva will participate in group activities; and I will teach a workshop about citizenship.
