The GED Tests provide adults who did not complete a formal high school program the
opportunity to certify their attainment of high school-level academic knowledge and skills
The GED Test battery comprises five content area tests:
- Language Arts, Writing, Part I 50 questions in 75 minutes
- Language Arts, Writing, Part II 1 essay in 45 minutes
- Social Studies 50 questions in 70 minutes
- Science 50 questions in 80 minutes
- Language Arts, Reading 40 questions in 65 minutes
- Mathematics 50 questions in 90 minutes
