Last updated January 3, 2023 6:15 PM
The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a flood watch and high wind warning for the greater Bay Area through Thursday, January 5.
The City of Milpitas is urging residents to stay home if possible and to anticipate and prepare for possible disruptions to power and internet services for extended periods. Please monitor weather forecasts and be alert for possible flood and evacuation warnings.
Given the anticipated severe weather conditions please be aware that there may be a delay in emergency services response. Call 911 only in a police, fire, or medical emergency. To report non-emergency situations residents are encouraged to use the MyMilpitas App (iOS App Store / Google Play) or call the police department at 408-586-2400.
