Muslims in the United States and around the world observe Ramadan at the same time each year. But some Muslim-Americans report the experience is different and, at times, more challenging than in predominantly Muslim countries. According to the Council on American-Islamic Relations, the western state of California has the largest Muslim population in the United States. Elizabeth Lee reports for VOA from Los Angeles.
