VOAvideo — April 05, 2010 — New figures released on Friday suggest the U.S. economic recovery is gaining traction. The Labor Department says employers added 162,000 jobs in March. That's the biggest monthly gain since the recession began. Despite the improving jobs picture, the nation's unemployment rate held steady at 9.7 percent. VOA's Mil Arcega has more.
